Description

I'm glad to present you my new doll repaint! Ready for Christmas:
Rapunzel! This was the first time I've repainted a Rapunzel Doll :D (Big Grin)
This Rapunzel is the Disney Store 17' singing Rapunzel doll.
She sings the healing song, which doesn't fit with her Hair wich Rapunzel wears when she sings the duet with Flynn (Eugene)"I see the light".
But that doesn't bother me.
I removed her factory paint using pure acetone.
The repaint was made using fine brushes, high quality artist acrylic paints and soft pastels for blushing and shading.
Her chin was filed shorter using an electric file (more Information below).
Everything was sealed.
I added false lashes.
To the filed chin (and the repaint):
While i was repainting Rapunzel, i noticed that her chin is extremly long.
The comparision pictures i had from the movie have proven that.
I tried to file her chin with regular sand paper, but the result wasn't that satisfying.
I bought an exelent electric file which came pretty fast so i could finish her before Christmas.
I made before and after Pictures were the chin wasn't that visibly changed,
but in real-life and for me, the difference was huge!
Rapunzel was very difficult to do, especially eyes, lips and how to pose the eyebrows.
She was very exhausting for me, but totally worth it :)
I really wanted to make sure her eyes (and her face complete) looked like in the movie.

I hope you like her as much as i do :)

Before and after Picture coming soon!

Note: I added the little peak that she has on her hairline exactly where the parting of her hair is and I also fixed her bangs slightly, after i took the photos.
